A few years ago, I realized that I really liked Dr. Seuss books. I like that they have a message, they are quirky, silly, weird and have us rhyming all day long after reading them. So, naturally when we were visiting the library a few weeks ago, I checked out all the Seuss's we could find. I knew his birthday was coming up on March 2nd and we definitely needed a party to celebrate. A party that included Green Eggs & Ham and a grinchy cake...
We found some awesome worksheets online that go with his books. They teach about the setting, problem, solution, characters and fun facts about Dr. Seuss and his experience as a writer. It was totally fun.
What can I say? I'm loving days like this....
